OUR SERVICES

We offer breakfast and after school clubs during term time, and holiday clubs for the half term breaks and summer holidays for primary school aged children.  We are currently serving Calshot Primary,Great Barr Primary Academy and Beeches Junior school.  Please contact us if you require services for another school.

Term Time Breakfast and After School

Before school – 7:00am – 9:00am

Breakfast is served between 7:15am – 8:15am, and we leave for school at 8:30am. Children arriving at 8:15 and after will be given a breakfast pack to go if they have not eaten at home.  Whilst we would prefer for all children to sit down to eat their breakfast, we believe that breakfast is an imperative meal and studies have proved that children learn better following a good breakfast.

After school – 3:00 – 6:00pm

A selection of fresh fruit, juice or squash and water is available immediately after school, and throughout the afternoon.  Children are free to help themselves to the fruit and drinks as they wish.  Afternoon activities include light tutoring with National Curriculum based activities to continue to support the learning of your children in a fun interactive way.  Children will also have the opportunity to participate in dance classes, undertaking a variety of styles including street dance and krumping.  The children have free play where they can choose what games or activities they want to do.  Sofas are available with plenty of cushions for those who would like to read a book or just chill out and have a chat.

We also offer a drop home service* for those occasions where you may be required to stay a bit later at work.

*Terms and conditions apply.

Menu

We operate on a three week rolling menu, so you know what your child is eating and your child will also know what is being prepared each day.  Each day consists of a meal cooked onsite and a dessert.  At breakfast we offer a selection of cereals with no added sugar, porridge, toast with butter or jam, fruit juice, milk or water. Our menu is displayed on our notice board at the centre with a star to indicate which week we are on.  We offer healthy meals and snacks, but on a Friday we have a take-away treat!

Fresh water is available for drinking at all times, and a drink of squash or fruit juice is given with the evening meal.

Breakfast -  A selection of cereals, toast and jam, fresh fruit and fruit juice or milk.  For children requiring a breakfast pack to go, each pack includes toast, a piece of fruit and a box of fruit juice.

*All meals will have a vegetarian/vegan alternative if required.  All dietary requirements will be discussed and considered in order to provide equality at meal times for all children.

Breakfast, snacks and a light evening meal is provided, children will need to bring a packed lunch with them.

Activities

Our holiday club activities are very varied (please see the news section for photos).  We try to encourage the children to participate in things that they may not have tried before.  Where possible we have one main activity which is usually an outing each day during the summer.  Most of these activities are inclusive of the fees however, some activities incur a small charge to cover additional costs.  Our activities include: museum trips, workshops, sports, martial arts and craft.  Our main aim is for the children to have fun and develop new skills or interests.
